For me it was the death of an old col...All so true. For me it was the death of an old college friend at 51 ( me at 48) - too soon. And following on family deaths, too soon. We are not immortal, I realized. Live each day like it may be your last. This is not "depressing", this is liberating! <br />And I think one foot in front of the other is all we can ever do. Now, though, we have gained some Wisdom, the wisdom to prioritize. When I was younger I let things happen TO me, and fortunately, things went generally allright. But now, I have to take certain things in hand, make them happen, and I have. And am the better for it. <br />I don't mind my age. I feel better in all ways, the whole package, inside and out, than I ever have.
