In a childhood filled with rustic assignments, Bragg, Sill, Bliss, Belvoir, Ft Monroe was the one beautiful post my family was lucky enough to get assigned. I loved it there and cherish the memories so much. I'd love to retire there. Hence a Museum.I just wish that something could have been done to maintain a military presence there to preserve the Old Dominion culture.
