The freedom, movement.
But I love the intensity. Not just the blue, but all of it, the hot deep color ( strange word to choose for 'cool' tones but I feel it), the contrast. Richness. And simplicity of composition. Like pure essence of seasky experience. That low low horizon line, strips of dark green sea and glowing palewarm sand.
It all packs a big whallop. It's not timid, or gentle. It fairly hollers: Sea, sand, sky; You are HERE.
I love it.Belindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03470745960964423207noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8792349136622990269.post-80652988420065189122011-04-14T20:27:01.516-04:002011-04-14T20:27:01.516-04:00I LOVE it! I say it's a keeper.

Granted, I know nothing about photography, I just go with what I respond to, and this is beautiful to me.A Brush with Colorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07638723986208929476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8792349136622990269.post-39980850357438867582011-04-14T08:02:51.666-04:002011-04-14T08:02:51.666-04:00Chris - I'm among those who like this picture ...Chris - I'm among those who like this picture a lot. Two things stand out for me. At first glance it looks like a paint brush swept through the clouds leaving a darker swath of blue. Second look and that same area looks like a fold in the clouds. Third look and I see a dolphin... NO, just kidding :)Joanhttp://www.mvobsession.comnoreply@blogger.com
