What can I say? When you’re stuck in Downey, California, for a few days and need a break from work and your hotel room, you will be eventually decide that maybe the world oldest McDonald’s fast food restaurant is worth visiting. You say you won’t do it. You imagine how silly people will think you are for having done it. But the next thing you know you’re standing in the parking lot under that big Mr. Speedee sign, contemplating those original golden arches and wondering when the heck they're going to repair the yellow neon.
